If you'd like to make living with your dog a rewarding and enjoyable experience, then Puppy Pre-School is a must.
The aim of Puppy Pre-School is to help prevent dog behaviour problems and to prepare owners in all aspects of raising a puppy. These classes will help to start your puppy off on the right paw.
Specifically designed for puppies 8-16 weeks of age, Puppy Pre-School will:
- Assist the puppies to come sociable, manageable pets;
- Develop confidence around people and other dogs;
- Learn basic obedience commands such as SIT, DROP, STAY and COME;
- Allow the puppies to enjoy coming to visit the vets.
The classes also cover other aspects of responsible pet care including nutrition, dentistry, bathing, grooming, house-training and worming.
Classes are run for 1 hour each week for 4 weeks with a maximum of 6 puppies, so bookings are essential.
We have also just started a Puppy Teen School for dogs older than 4 months to further continue their education and sociallisation, also run over 4 weeks, so please ask our staff for further details.
