newsflash 2

Spring 2010: Craig has farewelled the clinic to further his scenic discovery of Australia before his return to NZ. We would like to thank him for his contribution over the last 6 months and wish him all the best for his future( He was heard to be murmuring about a craving for lamb cutlets!). For a month we will be having Louise from the Emerald Isle to dispense her luck amongst our clients. Her bubbly Irish personality will be sure to be sure to enthrall your pets! Please make her feel very welcome as she brings some wonderful experience as a vet from ireland.

September 2010: Paralysis ticks are once again on the move especially in the hot spots of Dundowran and Craignish and Booral. Symptoms include voice change, weakness progressing to an inability to stand, gagging/vomiting and eventually paralysis. Removing the tick from it's crater does not guarantee that the progression of the illness will stop. Most continue to worsen in the next 24 hours. Please phone if these symptoms develop as the condition is potentially life threatening!
